FOX UK is turning to Adult Swim for their renewed push into scripted comedy. The FIC owned and operated channel has inked a deal with Turner Broadcasting System for the exclusive UK broadcast rights to a wide range of Adult Swim content, including Dan Harmon's Rick & Morty and Mr Pickles. In what is her first major television role following stints on CSI: Miami and The Comedians, Olivia Taylor Dudley has joined the cast of Syfy's 13 episode Lev Grossman adaptation The Magicians as a series regular, TVWise has learned. She will play Alice, an intensely shy and delicately lovely young woman. Despite reports to the contrary, Community has not been cancelled just yet. Word that the show had run its course spread like wild-fire over the past day, after series star Joel McHale gave an interview to Metro Weekly in which he stated that there would be no seventh season of Community, despite all the involved parties wanting it, due to financial issues.
