Sony Pictures Television Lines Up International Sales For ‘The Player’

The Player is going global. Series producer and distributor Sony Pictures Television has lined up a slew of international sales for the NBC drama starring Philip Winchester and Wesley Snipes following its debut in the United States last week. 50 CentStarz is staying in business with Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson. The premium cable network has signed the Power executive producer to an overall deal which will see him develop new projects for the network through his G Unit Film & Television banner. Under the two-year overall deal Jackson will also continue to serve as an executive producer on Power, which was recently picked up for a ten episode third season. Read More

Nicki MinajNicki Minaj is heading to ABC Family. The Disney owned cable network has handed out a series commitment to an as-yet untitled comedy series based on Nicki Minaj's life.
