The fifth season of ABC’s drama series Scandal will receive its UK premiere on Sky Living on Thursday December 3rd at 10pm , it has been announced.
NBC's short-lived comedy series A To Z will receive its UK premiere on E4 on Monday November 30th at 7:30pm and will then continue to air on weekdays in the same time-slot, it has been announced.
Sky is expanding their relationship with HBO. The satcaster has agreed a new pan-European output deal, which makes Sky Atlantic the exclusive home of HBO content in Germany, Austria and Italy through to 2020. Sky Atlantic in the UK & Ireland was already covered by the output deal extension
ITV is continuing to add to the cast of The Sound Of Music Live! Maria Friedman (The Woman in White, Chicago) and Mel Giedroyc (Sadie J, The Great British Bake Off) have landed co-starring roles opposite lead Kara Tointon in ITV's live production based on the original musical, which is set to air this Christmas.
Arjay Smith is staying in the TNT family. The former Perception star has been tapped for a recurring role on the network's flagship drama Major Crimes, TVWise has confirmed. Smith, who co-starred on all three seasons of Perception as Max Lewicki, has been cast as Dennis Price, a confident young man who has created a good business for himself as the neighborhood drug dealer. 
After serving as Acting Head of Comedy for the past two months, Jon Mountague has been officially promoted to the post. He succeeds Lucy Lumsden, who stepped down as Sky's Head of Comedy in September. Elsewhere, Sky1 Director Adam MacDonald is getting an expanded brief as part of an executive restructure following Stuary Murphy's exit and will now add responsibility for Pick and Sky Living to his remit.
