Netflix UK has announced that the thirteen episode second season of Breaking Bad spin-off Better Call Saul will premiere on Tuesday February 16th, less than 24 hours after the U.S. broadcast on AMC. HBO is staying in business with Nic Pizzolatto. The premium cable network has inked a new overall deal with the True Detective creator which will keep him based at HBO through to at least 2018. This marks the third such overall deal they have agreed with Pizzolatto, after signing similar such deals with the writer/producer in 2012 (to land True Detective in the first place) and then again in 2014, ahead of the season two renewal.
