After a months long search, ITV has found the lead actress for their Prime Suspect prequel series Tennison. Stefanie Martini, who is coming off of a starring role in NBC's upcoming The Wizard Of Oz series Emerald City, will take on the part of a Jane Tennison - the role played by Dame Helen Mirren in Prime Suspect between 1991 and 2006. Karen Bradley has been appointed as the new Secretary of State for Culture, Media & Sport by Prime Minister Theresa May. This is a promotion for Bradley, who was elected to Parliament as the MP for Staffordshire Moorlands in May 2010, and marks her first cabinet role.
