Viceland UK Acquires FX’s Animated Spy Comedy ‘Archer’

Viceland UK is adding to their comedy line-up. Fox Renews ‘The X-Files’ For Ten Episode Eleventh Season

After months of prolonged negotiations, Fox has officially pulled the trigger and renewed The X-Files for an eleventh season. The network has opted for a longer run for this second revival season, ordering ten episodes, up from the six that comprised season ten. UKTV Profits Surge By 8% To £91 Million

UKTV has had another good year. The multi-channel broadcaster, which is a joint venture between BBC Worldwide and Scripps Networks Interactive, has seen its profits (EBITDA) surge by some 8% to £91 million, from revenues of £345 million. Likewise, the broadcasters share of commercial impacts grew to 9.85%, placing them behind only ITV.
