BBC News and former Crimewatch presenter Fiona Bruce has been officially confirmed as the next host of Question Time. She succeeds David Dimbleby, who earlier this year announced he was stepping down as host after some 25 years. Fiona Bruce will take over as host on January 10th, 2019. Bruce was selected as the new host following an extensive search. The selection process for the role included candidates each hosting a pilot episode of the programme, including panellists and a live audience.
