Sky Atlantic Sets UK Premiere Date For ‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 8
The eighth and final season of HBO’s flagship drama series Game Of Thrones will receive its UK premiere on Sky Atlantic on Monday April 15th at 2am, simulcast with the premium cable network’s east-coast feed. Sky One has handed out a six episode series order to Code 404, a police comedy, starring Daniel Mays (Line Of Duty) and Stephen Graham (Boardwalk Empire), which is set in the Special Investigation Unit of London's Metropolitan Police Service.
Channel 4 has released the trailer for Pure, their new drama series based on Rose Cartwright’s memoir. Penned by Kirstie Swain, Pure follows twenty-four year old Marnie, who has ‘bad’ thoughts all the time and she can’t tell anyone. Her mind is XXX-rated and intrusive thoughts are piling up inside her head. It turns out she’s actually caught in the grip of an excruciating type of obsessive compulsive disorder where her obsessions take the form of intrusive thoughts, often sexual, and the compulsions are unseen mental rituals that deeply affect her daily life. 
BBC Three's Glow Up is taking shape. Stacey Dooley has been tapped to host the make up competition series, while industry professionals Val Garland and Dominic Skinner have been set as judges. “I’m delighted to be involved with Glow Up", Dooley said in a statement. "The make-up artists are so impressive and talented... and Val and Dominic were a scream to work with. Can’t wait to show you all it!”
Cartoon Network has ordered a fourth season of their Ben 10 reboot. The renewal comes after the series was watched by 182 million individuals in Q3 2018, with 56 million kids tuning in. The show's fourth season is expected to air in 2020. The kids series is currently in its third season, with new episodes airing across EMEA later this month. Season three will roll-out across the United States and Latin America in February and Asia Pacific in March.
DRG & NENT Group Norway have teamed together to launch a co-commissioning drive for non-scripted content with a stated goal being to create long-running series for NENT's TV3, Viasat4 and TV6. DRG will then handle international distribution for series commissioned under this pact.
