Sky 1 Sets Return Date For Glee

The third season of the FOX musical hit Glee will return to Sky 1 on Thursday March 1st at 9pm, the channel has confirmed. The drama series follows a high school teacher as he attempts to inspire a group of his students and restore the school’s glee club. Currently airing it’s third season in the United States, the series is one of the highest rated series on FOX and is considered a lock for a fourth season renewal. This is the first season of the musical drama series to air on the BSKYB channel since they out-bid Channel 4 for the rights to the third season of the programme. Season three returns in March with the episode “Yes/No” which features voice overs from Dame Helen Mirren and a cover of Rihanna’s We Found Love. Sky 1 will then air a new episode every week until the season finale.

Showtime’s Masters Of Sex Pilot Finds Its Leads

Showtime has found its lead actors for upcoming pilot Masters Of Sex. Michael Sheen (who will also serve as a producer) and Lizzy Caplan have been cast in the project which is based on Thomas Maier’s book Masters of Sex: The Life and Times of William Masters and Virginia Johnson, The Couple Who Taught America How To Love which chronicles the lives of human sexuality pioneers William Masters and Virginia Johnson. The pilot was green-lit by Showtime’s new President of Entertainment, David Nevins, back in November, 2011 and comes to the cable network from Sony Pictures Television. The project is being directed by John Madden and executive produced by Judith Verno, Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly.

Scrubs alum Donald Faison is returning to TV Land. The cabler has renewed his comedy series The Exes for a second season which is set to air in the summer. The decision to renew the series comes just one day after the season finale aired on TV Land. The half hour sitcom boasts a series of notable actors amongst its cast; Donald Faison (Scrubs), Wayne Knight (Seinfeld), David Alan Basche (The Starter Wife), Kristen Johnston (3rd Rock From The Sun) and Kelly Stables. The Exes revolves around three newly single guys sharing an apartment which is owned by the one person they have in common: their divorce attorney. The renewal comes as no surprise as the series has been averaging an audience of 1.5 million total viewers and a 0.65 rating in the 25-54 demographic.
