This past week saw the series premiere of TNT’s Perception and the (long expected) renewal of Falling Skies for a third season. Even so there are a number of shows who fates are still in question. And for each show, at least a dozen queasy fans anxiously waiting to hear if their favourite show will be back next year. To that end, TVWise’s presents this years second edition of Summer TV Buzz; the latest run down of industry intel (buzz, if you will) on which of cable’s summer shows will be back next year and which shows will be cancelled. It is still pretty early for a lot of shows so things are fairly fluid and could change in the coming weeks. Streaming service Hulu has nabbed exclusive US rights to Prisoners of War (AKA Hatufim), the original Israeli series upon which Showtime’s hit drama series Homeland was based. The ten episode series is set to premiere on the streaming service on Saturday July 14th.
