FX UK Acquires Rights To ‘Da Vinci’s Demons’

I had heard rumblings of this over the past few months, but it is now official. In a deal similar to those struck for The Walking Dead and Dexter, Fox International Channels has picked up the exclusive first window pay-TV rights to the BBC Worldwide/Starz series Da Vinci’s Demons. The deal that Fox International Channels (FIC) has struck with BBC Worldwide will see the show’s eight episode first season air on FX UK and FIC’s 200 pay-TV entertainment channels to audiences in 120 countries across EMEA in early 2013.

Alibi Acquires UK Rights To ‘White Collar’ & ‘The Glades’

UKTV has closed a deal with 20th Century Fox Television Distribution to acquire the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to the second and third seasons of White Collar (the show’s first season was previously broadcast on Bravo in the UK) and the first three seasons of The Glades for its Alibi Channel. The first season of The Glades will receive its UK premiere in September, while the second season of White Collar is set to premiere in October.
