Exclusive: Following on from last weeks deals for subsequent seasons of Homeland and New Girl, Channel 4 has renewed its licensing deals for The Big Bang Theory, 90210, The Cleveland Show, Don’t Trust The B—- In Apartment 23, How I Met Your Mother, The Big C and The Good Wife. I’m being told that the fifth season of 90210, the fourth season of The Cleveland Show and the second season of Don’t Trust The B—- In Apartment 23 are currently pencilled in to premiere on E4 in early 2013, while the sixth season of The Big Bang Theory and the eighth season of How I Met Your Mother are tentatively scheduled to premiere on E4 in late 2012. I’m also being told that both the third season of The Big C and the fourth season of The Good Wife are currently scheduled to premiere on More4 in early 2013.

Sony Entertainment Television Acquires UK Rights To Hot In Cleveland Season Three

Exclusive: It looks like Hot In Cleveland‘s days on Sky Living are numbered. I have just learned that Sony Entertainment Television has closed a deal to acquire the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to the third season of TV Land’s award winning comedy series Hot In Cleveland. I’m also being told the the show’s 24 episode third season will premiere on the channel on Friday September 14th at 8:30pm, with a double-bill.

After protracted negotiations between BBC Two and Big Talk Productions, the broadcaster has renewed comedy series Rev. for a third season of six episodes. Production on the show’s third season is due to commence this autumn for a 2014 premiere.

Sony Entertainment Television Acquires UK Rights To ‘Will & Grace’, Sets Premiere For August 6th

Sony Entertainment Television has closed a deal with MGM to acquire the non-exclusive UK broadcast rights to all eight seasons of the NBC comedy series Will & Grace. The series is set to make its premiere on the channel on Monday August 6th at 5:45 pm, with a double-bill. Subsequent episodes of the series will then air on week-days at the same time.
