Back in June, TVWise broke the news that Sony Pictures Home Entertainment was in the early stages of preparing a UK DVD release of the fourth season of Breaking Bad which, like the show’s third season, has never been broadcast in the UK. Sony made that official today by announcing a DVD release for Breaking Bad: The Complete Fourth Season.

Big changes await BBC One’s long running drama series Silent Witness. Tom Ward, who has played forensic pathologist Dr Harry Cunningham on Silent Witness since 2002, is leaving the series, with his final two episodes slated to air on BBC One later this month. Those final two episodes (titled And Then I Fell in Love, Parts I & II) will see Ward’s character move in with close friend and colleague Dr Nikki Alexander (Emilia Fox) when a gas explosion in his flat leaves him temporarily homeless.
