Fox Reshuffles Fall Schedule: ‘Touch’ Moved To January, ‘Kitchen Nightmares’ Premieres Friday October 26th

Fox has made the first schedule reshuffle of the fall season. Sophomore drama series Touch, which was set to premiere on Friday October 26th at 8/7c, has been moved to mid-season and will now premiere in January. Meanwhile, the fifth season of Gordon Ramsay’s unscripted series Kitchen Nightmares has been given Touch‘s previously announced time-slot and will now premiere on Friday October 26th at 8/7c.

Sheridan Smith (Mrs Biggs), Johnny Vegas (Benidorm), Nell Tiger Free (Broken) and Isabella Blake-Thomas (Just William) have joined the cast of BBC One’s upcoming TV movie Mr Stink. Nell Tiger Free has been cast as Chloe, a young girl who befriends Mr Stink; Isabella Blake-Thomas will portray Annabelle, Chloe’s perfect younger sister; while Sheridan Smith and Johnny Vegas have been cast as the mother and father of both Close and Annabelle. It’s Official: BBC One Orders ‘Lapland’ Comedy Series Based On 2011 Christmas Special

Last month, TVWise reported that BBC One had ordered a follow up to its successful 2011 Christmas comedy Lapland and that the part of Peter Lewis, which had been portrayed by Stephen Graham in the original 90 minute film, had been recast with Dean Andrews now assuming the role. BBC One made that official today by announcing the commission of Lapland, a new six-part comedy series based on the 2011 film.
