The fourth season of FX’s drama series Justified will receive its UK premiere on 5USA on Wednesday May 8th at 10pm, it has been announced.
Comedy Central Extra has picked up the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to Kathy Griffins late night talk show Kathy, which aired on Bravo in the United States before recently being cancelled. Comedy Central Extra will start airing the series, beginning with the second season, from Thursday May 2nd at 10pm.

EXCLUSIVE: Sky is cementing its relationship with veteran comedy producers Big Talk Productions. TVWise reported back in February that Sky was developing a comedy series with Big Talk titled Give Out Girls and that the half-hour project was poised to be picked up with a six episode order. Insiders have now confirmed to me that Sky Living has given the green-light to Give Out Girls, with pre-production on the series already underway.
Eden has renewed its factual series David Attenborough’s Natural Curiosities for a second season, set to air later this year. The pick up is for an extended run of 10 episodes, up from the five episodes the channel ordered for the show’s first season. The renewal of the series comes after David Attenborough’s Natural Curiosities drew an average audience of 1.6 million viewers, making it Eden’s highest ever rated programme. This on top of the channel growing its audience share by an impressive 21% last year.
EXCLUSIVE: Veteran drama director Charlie Palmer has signed on to direct the upcoming six episode crime drama series By Any Means for BBC One and Red Planet Pictures. Palmer’s previous credits include Doctor Who, Lark Rise To Candleford and Red Planet’s Death In Paradise. I’m also hearing rumblings that there may be a second director in the mix, but I’ve been unable to confirm that.
BBC Two has given the green-light to a one-off biopic about Dylan Thomas titled A Poet In New York which will explore how Thomas was responsible for his own demise. Casting on the drama is currently underway, wuth production slated to commence this Summer in Cardiff. A Poet In New York will air on BBC Two in 2014.
