Sundance Channel Renews ‘Rectify’ For Season 2

Sundance Channel has renewed its first original drama series Rectify for a second season of 10 episodes, up from the six episodes the network ordered for its first season. The renewal comes after the series premiered on April 22nd to almost universal critical acclaim. The show’s second season will enter production later this year in Griffin, Georgia.

‘Strike Back’ Helmer Dan Percival To Direct BBC One’s ‘Death Comes To Pemberley’

EXCLUISVE: BBC One and Origin Pictures have found the director for their upcoming three-part adaptation of the P.D. James novel Death Comes To Pemberley. My sources tell me that acclaimed director Dan Percival has signed on to the helm the three part drama. Percival has had a long and distinguished career, having directed such drama series as The Ghost Squad, The State Within and Waking The Dead. He was also instrumental (alongside co-executive producer Frank Spotnitz) in the re-tooling of action series Strike Back when HBO’s sister channel Cinemax boarded the series for its second season as a co-producer.
