Fox made no secret of the fact that they had already renewed every series that they intended to, add to that that they got all of their series orders out of the way yesterday and this should come as no surprise. The network just cancelled the low rated drama series Touch after two seasons. There is no official word on the fate of The Cleveland Show, but that also looks unlikely to return.
CBS has just announced that they have renewed long running drama series Criminal Minds for a ninth season.
The CW has started making its pilot pick ups. The network has picked up The 100, Reign, Oxygen and The Tomorrow People. All four have received orders for 13 episodes and join Vampire Diaries spin-off The Originals, which was picked up last month shortly after its pilot aired as an episode of The Vampire Diaries.
