Upfronts 2013: NBC Announces Fall Schedule; ‘The Blacklist’ On Monday, ‘Revolution’ Moves To Wednesdays

Ahead of its upfront presentation in New York City tomorrow, NBC has released details of its 2013-2014 fall schedule. In total, the network has 14 new scripted shows this season. Only six of them appear on the fall schedule, with About A Boy, Believe, Crisis, Chicago PD, Crossbones, The Family Guide, The Night Shift and Undateable all pencilled in for mid-season. The only returning show slated for a mid-season launch is Community, while the network has yet to decide on the fate of Hannibal.

CBS Picks Up Legal Drama Pilot ‘Reckless’ To Series

CBS isn’t quite done picking up new series for its 2013-2014 schedule. The network just picked up its drama pilot Reckless to series with a 13 episode order. It joins 2 other new drama series at the network, Hostages and Intelligence. While CBS has also given the greenlight to four sitcoms: Crazy Ones, The Millers (formerly known as Greg Garcia Project), Mom and We Are Men (formerly known as Untitled Rob Greenberg project).

In addition to the cancellations of Body of Proof, Happy Endings and Malibu Country (as detailed below), the network has now cancelled low rated freshman drama series Red Widow and freshman comedy series Family Tools and How To Live With Your Parents (For The Rest Of Your Life).
