CBS Announces Fall Premiere Dates: Most Shows Launch In September, ‘Intelligence’ Gets February Date
CBS is the first of the five networks to announce the premieres dates for their fall line up. There were no real surprises buried in today’s announcement, with most show’s launching in late September. Things kick off on September 18th with Survivor. That is followed on September 22nd by The Primetime Emmy Awards, before the bulk of the network’s scripted line up launches on the week of September 23rd. The only mid-season show to get a premiere dates in Intelligence, which launches on Monday February 24th. CBS has yet to set premiere dates for mid-seasons entries Mike & Molly, Reckless, Bad Teacher and Friends With Better Lives.

The fourth season of Canadian drama series Rookie Blue will receive its UK premiere on Universal Channel on Sunday July 14th at 9pm, it has been announced.
EXCLUSIVE: ITV’s upcoming comedy series Cabbage and Pat has found another of its main cast members. I’ve learned that Diane Morgan has joined the comedy as a series regular. Morgan’s previous credits include Robert’s Web, Mount Pleasant and Him & Her.
Starz is adding another scripted series to its line up. The premium cable network has given the green-light to Power, a new nightclub drama which hails from Courtney Kemp Agboh and 50 Cent. The pick up also comes as the network is finalising a 16 episode pick up for Ron Moore’s Outlander, which will be produced by the Sony owned production company Left Bank Pictures.
Jake Ballard will be crossing paths with Olivia Pope once again. The Unit alum Scott Foley has been upped to a series regular for the upcoming third season of ABC’s drama series Scandal. The promotion comes after Foley, who is currently a regular on Fox’s ill-fated comedy series The Goodwin Games, recurred on the back half of Scandal‘s third season as Jake Ballard, an old friend of the President.
