BBC One Picks Up ‘Our Girl’ To Series, Orders ‘Grey Mates’ Comedy & KFC Documentary Series
Following the success of the one-off TV movie/backdoor pilot earlier this year, the BBC is moving forward with a full series of their Lacey Turner fronted drama Our Girl. BBC One has ordered a five episode first season for Our Girl, which is set to air in 2014. In addition, BBC One Controller Charlotte Moore has also commissioned a full series of comedy Grey Mates, following on from a pilot earlier this year; and an observational documentary series about KFC, in the same vein as Channel 4’s popular Fried Chicken Shop.

In the television industry, it’s not very often that an actor can lay claim to being involved with what is considered to be one of the best series of all time, and to be involved with several iconic series is ever rarer. Louis Lombardi is one of the rare few who can make such a claim. With supporting roles in classic shows The Sopranos, Entourage and 24, he is definitely setting himself apart from the rest of the pack. Add to that already impressive roles in films like Natural Born Killers, The Usual Suspects and Suicide Kings, Louis is making a name for himself in Hollywood. Away from acting, the Brooklyn born actor has started his own Italian Gourmet food line called Lombardi’s Gourmet. With all this going on, Louis was kind enough to sit down with TVWise and talk about his current project Mob City, Lombardi’s Gourmet and an upcoming project with Clint Eastwood.
