Showtime Releases First Trailer For ‘Homeland’ Season 5

Homeland S5Showtime has unveiled the first trailer for the upcoming 12 episode fifth season of Homeland, which is set to premiere this fall. The fifth season of the CIA drama will be set two years after season four, following Carrie’s ill-fated tenure as CIA station chief in Islamabad, Pakistan. Struggling to reconcile her guilt and disillusionment with years of working on the front lines in the “war on terror,” Carrie finds herself in a self-imposed exile in Berlin, estranged from the CIA and working for a private security firm.

LA Crime Drama ‘The Infamous’ Gets Pilot Order At A&E

Fox Debuts First Look At ‘X-Files’ Revival In New Promo

Fox has debuted the first glimpse of their upcoming six episode The X-Files revival, which premieres on January 24th and just cast How To Be A Gentleman star Rhys Darby in a guest starring role. The network has released about 4-5 seconds of footage showing Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny in character as FBI Special Agents Dana Scully and Fox Mulder as they clear a room, with their government issue flashlights and side-arms drawn.

Elodie Yung To Play Elektra In ‘Daredevil’ Season 2

‘The Simpsons’ Voice Cast Staying Intact After Harry Shearer Inks New Deal

Harry Shearer, who voices more than 20 characters, has inked a new deal with Fox and 20th Century Fox Television to continue with the show through its already green-lit twenty-seventh and twenty-eighth seasons. Additionally, his deal, which is understood to be worth $300 000 per episode, also gives Fox an option for two additional seasons (the show's twenty-ninth and thirtieth).
