Netflix Renews ‘BoJack Horseman’ For Third Season, Sets Premiere Dates For ‘Longmire’ & ‘Master Of None’
Netflix has picked up a third season of their animated comedy series BoJack Horseman, which stars Will Arnett and Aaron Paul. The streaming giant has ordered 13 episodes for the show's third season, which is expected to premiere globally in 2016. Additionaly, Netflix has also set premiere dates for Longmire and Aziz Ansari's Master Of None 
After an extended delay, Hallmark Channel has formally pulled the trigger on a third season of period drama When Calls The Heart. The network has ordered ten episodes for the show's third season, the first two of which will be previewed as a two-hour movie this Christmas.
In what is being hailed as a major deal, Banijay Group and Zodiak Media have agreed terms to merge the two companies, who, between them, generate revenues of more than £640 million ($1 billion USD).
Ed Sheeran is going medieval. The chart-topping musician has been tapped for a recurring role in Sons Of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter's new FX series The Bastard Executioner, which is currently shooting its ten episode first season in Wales. Sheeran will play Sir Cormac, an ambitious and deadly protégé of a high-ranking church elder.
BBC Two is not moving forward with a second season of their 1970s Cold War spy drama The Game, which hailed from Being Human creator Toby Whithouse and BBC Cymru Wales. Representatives of the BBC did not immediately respond to TVWise's request for comment.
Showtime is calling time on Happyish. The premium cable network has cancelled the comedy series Happyish after airing one ten episode season, TVWise has confirmed.
Billy Bob Thornton has lined up his next TV role. Following his standout performance on the first season of FX's Fargo, the veteran actor has signed on to play the lead in The Trial, Amazon Studios' upcoming TV drama project from The Practice creator David E. Kelley.
