HBO Eyes ‘Deadwood’ Wrap Up Movie (Again)
HBO is (once again) actively considering a two-hour Deadwood TV movie to wrap up storylines left lingering by the abrupt end of the show, it has emerged. Word of this new development first emerged on social media, when original cast member Garret Dillahunt revealed he had heard rumours that the network was looking at greenlighting a movie. In response to that HBO issued the following statement: "In reference to Garret Dillahunt’s tweet regarding the rumored Deadwood movie, there have only been very preliminary conversations".

Syfy is teaming with Battlestar Galactica and Caprica executive producer David Eick to develop a TV series based on Frederik Pohl’s Hugo and Nebula Award-winning novel Gateway, which tells the story of humanity’s encounter with a mysterious, ancient alien civilization. 
USA Network has set launch dates for their Josh Holloway fronted sci-fi series Colony and the second season of Satisfaction. Up first is Satisfaction, which kicks off its second season on Friday October 16th at 10/9c; while Colony will premiere on Thursday January 14th at 10/9c. The premiere dates where announced by USA Network at the Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour, which comes to a close tomorrow after the better part of three weeks. 
BBC One has today released the first four images from their upcoming event series War & Peace, which is being co-produced by The Weinstein Company and A&E Networks, who will air the series on A&E, History and Lifetime. 
Fox is bringing back another well known X-Files alum for the revival. Annabeth Gish (The Bridge, Sons Of Anarchy) has signed on to reprise her role as FBI Special Agent Monica Reyes in the limited event series. She will appear in one episode towards the end of the six episode run. 
TV Land has handed out a 12 episode straight-to-series order to Lopez, a semi-autobiographical single-camera comedy series starring and executive produced by George Lopez.
