UKTV's Watch channel has given the green-light to Get Me To The Church, a new six episode factual-entertainment series from independent production company Twofour which is hailed as a play "on the premise of films like The Hangover, capturing that feeling of fish-out-of-water and a race against time". 
House Of Cards alum Mahershala Ali has been cast in Netflix's newest Marvel series Luke Cage. He will play Cornell “Cottonmouth” Stokes, a Harlem nightclub owner who becomes an unexpected foe in Luke’s life when Stokes’ criminal activities threaten Luke’s world. 
Syfy is keeping most of its Friday night block in-tact. The network has renewed Killjoys and Dark Matter for second seasons. Dark Matter's renewal is for a further thirteen episodes, while Killjoys will be back for a second season of ten episodes. 
FremantleMedia International is set to handle global distribution for BBC One's three-part John Lanchester adaptation Capital after striking a deal with production company Kudos Film & Television, TVWise has learned. 
NBC is pulling the plug on Coach. Citing creative differences with the producers, the network has decided not to move forward with the project, which was picked up earlier this year with a thirteen episode straight-to-series order. The show, which was eyed for midseason, was envisioned as a follow up to the original ABC sitcom with Craig T. Nelson on board to reprise his role as Hayden Fox. 
TV Land has renewed their newest comedy series Impastor and The Jim Gaffigan Show for second seasons, the network announced late on Monday. Both have received twelve episode pick-ups and will return to the network in 2016. 
Netflix has released a new full-length trailer for the upcoming ten episode fourth season of Longmire, which is set to premiere on the streaming service in the US, Canada, New Zealand and Australia on Thursday September 10th. (TCM will air the new season in the UK later this year). 
CBS is closing the book on Under The Dome. The network has decided not to order a fourth season of the Summer drama series, TVWise has learned. The series finale will air on CBS on Thursday September 10th.
