US premium cable network Starz has signed on to co-produce Close To The Enemy, BBC Two's six episode drama series from Dancing On The Edge writer and director Stephen Poliakoff, TVWise has learned. 
Marvel's Jessica Jones - the second entry in the package of four TV series and one miniseries - will premiere globally on Netflix on Friday November 20th, the streaming service announced on Thursday. 
Ovation has promoted long-time executive Lori Hall to the position of Vice President, Program Planning, Scheduling and Acquisitions. In her new role, Hall will assume responsibility for program acquisitions for the arts focussed cable network. She will also continue to be responsible for program scheduling. Hall will continue to report to Scott Woodward, Executive Vice-President of Programming and Productions for Ovation. 
After being stuck in development hell for years, a Preacher adaptation is finally making it to the small screen. AMC has picked up their Preacher pilot to series with a ten episode order. News of the series order first leaked on Twitter.
