Sex And The City star Cynthia Nixon has signed on for a guest starring role on the second season of Showtime's Emmy award winning drama series The Affair, TVWise has learned. Nixon will play Marilyn Sanders, a direct and challenging Manhattan couples therapist who is helping Noah and Alison come together after a period of strain. 
A&E has announced that the fourth season of Unforgettable - which the A+E Networks owned cable network resurrected after it was cancelled by CBS for a second time - will premiere on Friday November 13th at 8/7c with back-to-back episodes.

NBCU's Esquire Network has secured the exclusive U.S. broadcast rights to ITV's 13 episode Beowulf reboot starring Kieran Bew (Da Vinci's Demons) after striking a deal with international distributor ITV Studios Global Entertainment, TVWise has confirmed. 
Starz is staying in business with Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson. The premium cable network has signed the Power executive producer to an overall deal which will see him develop new projects for the network through his G Unit Film & Television banner. Under the two-year overall deal Jackson will also continue to serve as an executive producer on Power, which was recently picked up for a ten episode third season.
