ABC Family Renews ‘Switched At Birth’ For Fifth Season

Less than a week before the show's fourth season finale, ABC Family - which is set to re-brand as Freeform early next year - has renewed Switched At Birth for a fifth season. In keeping with their MO the network has not specified the size of the episode order, but season five is expected to consist of at least 20 episodes.

NBC Cuts Episode Orders For ‘Superstore’ & ‘Hot & Bothered’
