Freeform has handed out a pilot order to Alone Together, a half-hour comedy pilot from The Lonely Island team of Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone and Akiva Schaffer, TVWise has learned. 
There is a major change afoot at Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution. Steve Cornish, who has been with the company since 1986, is retiring as the head of the European division. Sky's former Head of Acquisitions David Smyth, currently Senior Vice-President of Sales and Development for TCFTVD, will replace Cornish as Senior Vice-President & Managing Director, Europe 
Netflix has handed out a ten episode series order to a Lost In Space reboot from Last Witch Untold scribes Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless, TVWise has learned. 
A little more than two weeks before the second season finale is set to air, Syfy has picked up 12 Monkeys for a third season, TVWise has confirmed. The network has ordered ten episodes for the show's third season, down from the thirteen episodes ordered for the first two seasons. 
Starz has released a new trailer for the third season of their original drama series Power, which is set to premiere on Sunday July 17th at 9/8c. 
AMC has handed out a second season renewal to their comic book adaptation Preacher, TVWise has learned. The network has ordered 13 episodes for the show's second season, up from the ten episodes they ordered for the show's debut run. 
Universal Cable Productions is promoting two of their own. The NBCU owned studio, which produces both scripted and unscripted shows for cable networks, has upped development executives Kate Fenske and Elise Henderson to Senior Vice-President, TVWise has learned. 
Gilmore Girls is coming to Netflix. The streaming giant has acquired global streaming rights to the original seven season run of the show after striking a deal with Warner Bros. International Television Distribution, TVWise has learned. All seven seasons of the show will be available to stream worldwide on Netflix from July 1st.
