Netflix UK has secured exclusive streaming rights to FX's hit limited series American Crime Story, TVWise has learned. The show's first season will launch on the streaming service in 2017, with subsequent seasons being added following their respective broadcast windows.

CBS Sets Official Title For ‘Star Trek’ Series, Releases First Look At New Ship

CBS has set an official title for their upcoming Star Trek TV series. The new 13 episode series, from showrunner Bryan Fuller and CBS Television Studios, will be titled Star Trek: Discovery, it was announced yesterday at San Diego Comic Con during the Star Trek 50th Anniversary Panel. Beyond revealing the title, CBS has also released a first look image of the new ship, as well as a short teaser trailer showing the 'test flight' of the USS Discovery.

Syfy Renews ‘Wynonna Earp’ For Second Season

Syfy has handed out a second season renewal to Wynonna Earp, their hour-long original drama series from IDW Publishing and Seven24 Films, TVWise has learned. 10 episodes have been ordered for the show's second season, which is set to premiere in 2017.

Charlie DePew Joins Freeform’s ‘Famous In Love’ In Recasting

Charlie DePew (The Amazing Spiderman) has joined the cast of Freeform's upcoming one-hour soap Famous In Love as a series regular, TVWise has learned. He will play Jake, a down-to-earth guy from the Midwest with an edge who aspires to be a screenwriter/indie filmmaker. Charlie DePew replaces Finding Carter star Jesse Henderson, who starred in the pilot episode, but has since departed the production after the role was re-envisioned.

CBS All Access’ ‘Star Trek’ Series Adds David Semel As Director & Executive Producer
