9/11 Drama ‘The Looming Tower’ In The Works At Hulu
9/11 drama The Looming Tower, based on the book of the same name by Lawrence Wright, is close to securing a ten episode series order at streaming service Hulu. The series examines the chain of events that led to the September 11th terrorist attacks. Of particular focus is the rising threat of Bin Laden and the Al-Qaeda network throughout the 1990s and how dysfunction at the heart of government, the FBI and CIA prevented U.S. authorities from identifying and disrupting the attack. ABC Cancels Summer Drama ‘Mistresses’

Tobias Menzies (Outlander) has been set as one of the leads in The Terror, AMC's ten episode anthology drama based on the novel by Dan Simmons. Picked up straight-to-series, The Terror is set in 1847, when a Royal Naval expedition crew searching for the Northwest Passage is attacked by a mysterious predator that stalks the ships and their crew in a suspenseful and desperate game of survival.
