E4 Import ‘Young & Hungry’ To End Run With Season 5, TV Movie In The Works
It's the end of the road for Young & Hungry. The Freeform comedy series - which airs on this side of the pond on E4 - is set to end its run with its (current) fifth season, the U.S. cable network announced on Thursday. 
Starz is expanding their Philippa Gregory franchise. The U.S. premium cable network has ordered a third series - a follow up to both The White Queen and The White Princess - titled The Spanish Princess, which will tell the story of Catherine of Aragon. It will be based on Gregory's novels The Constant Princess and The King’s Curse.
Starz's drama series Power has been handed and early sixth season renewal, just as production is wrapping on the ten episode fifth season. Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson will direct the season six premiere.
UKTV's W channel is teaming up with U.S. cable network Pop TV for Flack, a six episode drama series set in the world of high-stakes public relations. Anna Paquin (True Blood) is attached to star in the co-production. 
Suits is officially a franchise. USA Network has handed out a series order to the as-yet untitled Suits spin-off that will center around Gina Torres' character Jessica Pearson. The network did not reveal the size of the order for the spin-off. The untitled series follows powerhouse lawyer Jessica Pearson (Torres) as she adjusts to the dirty world of Chicago politics. Pearson was the Managing Partner of Pearson Specter Litt for the first six seasons of Suits. It was piloted through a planted episode (aka backdoor pilot), which is set to air next month as the seventh season finale of Suits.
Medical drama series The Good Doctor - which airs on this side of the pond on Sky Living - has been renewed for a second season by U.S. broadcaster ABC. No word on the size of the episode order for season two, which will air as part of the 2018-2019 season.
5Star's import The Magicians has been picked up by U.S. network Syfy for a fourth season. Thirteen episodes have been ordered for the fourth season, which will premiere next year.
