‘Star Trek 3’: Roberto Orci Out As Director, Edgar Wright Eyed As Possible Replacement

Roberto Orci, who scripted (along with Alex Kurtzman) both the 2009 Star Trek reboot and last year’s sequel Into Darkness, will no longer be directing the upcoming third Star Trek feature film. Top of the short-list to replace Orci as director is Edgar Wright, best known for helming 'Shaun of the Dead' and 'Hot Fuzz'.
