After more or less running silent (except for talk of a new Arrow spin-off), The CW has handed out pilot orders to Dead People, a supernatural drama from Californication creator Tom Kapinos; Tales From The Darkside, a remake of the 1980s television series; and Cordon, an adaptation of the Belgian drama from The Vampire Diaries executive producer Julie Plec.

Cinemax Picks Up ‘Quarry’ To Series With 8 Episode Order

CInemax has picked up their 1970s set drama project Quarry to series with an 8 episode order. The series, starring Logan Marshall-Green and Jodi Balfour, is set to enter production this March for a late 2015 premiere.

CBS has handed out pilot orders to three high-profile drama projects: Sneaky Pete, from Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston and House showrunner David Shore; civil rights drama For Justice, from James Patterson and Law & Order: Criminal Intent showrunner Rene Balcer; and LFE, a medical drama from up and comer Paul Downs Colaizzo.

After picking up four drama pilots, ABC has turned their attention to comedy. All told, the network has ordered a further seven comedy pilots, ranging from 'The Neighbors' and 'Galavant' creator Dan Fogelman's untitled NBA project and The King Of 7B, to an untitled comedy from Johnny Knoxville, and Delores & Jermaine, from stand up comedian Jermaine Fowler.
