Chelsea Peretti Exiting ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ In Season 6
Brooklyn Nine-Nine is losing a cast member. Chelsea Peretti, who has played civilian administrator Gina Linetti since the pilot, has announced that she is exiting the comedy series as a series regular during it's sixth season. 
Sony Pictures Television has acquired a minority stake in Eleventh Hour Films - the UK indie led by Jill Green, Eve Gutierrez, Paula Cuddy and Nicole Finnan which has been behind such productions as Foyle's War, New Blood, Vexed and Safe House. 


Ransom - the international drama series from Frank Spotnitz's Big Light Productions - has been renewed for a third season by commissioning partners Global and CBS. The series is distributed internationally by Entertainment One (eOne) and airs on this side of the pond on Universal TV.
After piloting the project (under its former titled Ball Street), Showtime has picked up 1980s Wall Street comedy Black Monday - starring Don Cheadle, Andrew Rannells and Regina Hall - to series with a ten episode order. Owing to the fact that Black Monday is set up as a co-pro with Sony Pictures Television, it is not immediately clear if it will be covered by Showtime's output deal with Sky or if SPT will be distributing it in the UK.
Amazon Studios has sealed a first look deal with multiple award winner Nicole Kidman and her production company Blossom Films for theatrical, television series, and digital content. The streaming service and Kidman's Blossom will work together to develop original series that will be available exclusively on Amazon Prime Video globally in over 200 countries and territories, as well as movies that will engage viewers in cinemas.
