NBC Picks Up Jerrod Carmichael Comedy To Series With 6 Episode Order
NBC has picked up their first pilot to series - handing out a six episode order to an as-yet untitled multi-camera comedy from Jerrod Carmichael, which explores the comedian's real life relationships with his contrarian father, therapist-in training girlfriend, ever-hustling brother and religious mother. 
Netflix has released a new trailer for their upcoming 13 episode series Marvel's Daredevil, which is being toplined by Boardwalk Empire alum Charlie Cox. 
Spartacus and Xena: Warrior Princess alum Lucy Lawless is set to co-star opposite Bruce Campbell (Burn Notice) in Starz's 10 episode series Ash vs Evil Dead, which is a follow up to the classic horror film franchise The Evil Dead.
AMC is moving forward with their Walking Dead spin-off. The untitled "companion" project, which has been in the works at the network since 2013, has been officially green-lit to series with a two season order. Six episodes have been ordered for the show's first season, while the episode order for the second season has yet to be determined.
