FX Sets Summer Premiere Dates For ‘Tyrant’, ‘Married’ & ‘Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll’

FX is the latest network to unveil their Summer schedule. The cabler announced Wednesday that they had set premiere dates for the second seasons of Tyrant and comedy Married, as well as a launch date for new comedy Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll. FX also said that the second season of The Strain, from Guillermo del Toro and Carlton Cuse, will premiere this Summer, though no formal date has been set.

‘The Last Man On Earth’ Renewed For Second Season At Fox

Fox has handed out an early second season renewal to midseason comedy series The Last Man On Earth. The network has ordered 13 episodes for the show's second season, which is expected to move from its current mid-season berth to Fox's Fall schedule for the 2015-2016 season.

BBC One Renews ‘Poldark’ For Second Season

The BBC is committing to Aidan Turner's Poldark. BBC One has renewed the hit series, which is a reboot of the 1970s series of the same name, for a second season, TVWise has learned. It is understood that eight episodes have been ordered for the show's second season, matching the size of the order for the first season.

The Sky owned Pick has secured the UK broadcast rights to the 13 episode series after striking a deal with international distributor Dynamic Television.
