Aziz Ansari, Alan Yang & Michael Schur Team Up For 10 Episode Netflix Comedy Series
It's a Parks & Recreation reunion (of sorts)! Former cast member Aziz Ansari has teamed up with Parks & Recreation co-creator Michael Schur and co-executive producer Alan Yang to create a new comedy series, which has landed at Netflix with a 10 episode straight-to-series order. Less than two weeks after releasing the first season, Netflix has renewed Marvel's Daredevil for a 13 second season which is set to air globally on the streaming service in 2016. HBO is teaming up with Whitney and 2 Broke Girls creator Whitney Cummings for their next comedy project. The premium cable network has handed out a pilot order to the as-yet untitled comedy which is based on Maureen Dowd’s book Are Men Necessary? When Sexes Collide. No surprises here: Family Guy is moving to BBC Two. Ahead of BBC Three's move online later this year, the BBC has announced that Family Guy will be moving to BBC Two until the corporation's licensing agreement for the Fox animated series expires in 2017. And the revival craze this development cycle continues... After months of rumors, Netflix has handed out a 13 episode order to a revival of the 1980s ABC sitcom Full House. The series, which is working under the title Fuller House, is envisioned as a sequel to the ABC series and is set to premiere globally on Netflix in 2016.
