Howard Gordon’s ‘The Frankenstein Code’, ‘Lucifer’ & ‘Minority Report’ Get Fox Series Orders
Fox is continuing their recent spree of series green-lights.The network, who yesterday picked up three new comedies (The Grinder, The Guide To Surviving Life and Grandfathered) and an hour-long drama (Rosewood), has handed out series orders to three of their most high-profile drama pilots: Frankenstein, from Homeland EP Howard Gordon; the DC Comics adaptation Lucifer; and Paramount TV's Minority Report sequel. 
Fox is pulling the plug on a number of bubble series. The network has official cancelled the Kevin Bacon fronted serial killer drama The Following, and Hart Hanson's Backstrom, starring Rainn Wilson and Dennis Haysbert.
CBS is following up on its early pick up for Supergirl by handing out series orders to two comedies (Angel From Hell and Life In Pieces) and four dramas (Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, Limitless, Rush Hour and Code Black).
The Crazy Ones and The Practice creator David E. Kelley's limited series Big Little Lies has landed at premium cable network HBO, who took in the packaged series after fending off competition from numerous other networks including Netflix. Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon are attached to star.
After lengthy negotiations, Fox has finalised a renewal for veteran procedural crime drama Bones - which will return in the fall for its eleventh season.
Claire Temple is returning to Hells Kitchen. Rosario Dawson has inked a new deal with Marvel Television and ABC Studios to reprise her role as Claire Temple on the recently ordered second season of Marvel's Daredevil. In addition, the new talent deal the actress has signed could potentially segue to other Marvel series on Netflix.
ABC has picked up a fourth new comedy for the 2015-2016 season. The network has handed out a series order to family comedy Uncle Buck, a reboot of the 1980s feature films of the same starring Survivor's Remorse alum Mike Epps.
