With production on the 10 episode anthology series now underway in LA, FX is putting the finishing touches on casting for American Crime Story. Leonard Roberts has boarded the series from Ryan Murphy in a recurring role. He will play journalist Dennis Schatzman. 
Jaden Smith (The Pursuit Of Happyness, The Karate Kid) has joined the cast of Netflix's 13 episode hip hop drama The Get Down, which hails from The Shield and Last Resort showrunner Shawn Ryan and Moulin Rouge helmer Baz Luhrmann. 
Jon Bernthal (The Walking Dead, Mob City) has joined the cast of Netflix's Marvel series Daredevil for its upcoming 13 episode second season as a series regular. He will play The Punisher, one of Marvel’s most popular characters, he is a vigilante who aims to clean up New York City’s Hell’s Kitchen by any means necessary, no matter how lethal the results. 
Cartoon Network is moving forward with a reboot of Ben 10, the hit animated series which started a franchise worth more than $4.5 million. The new series will be produced in-house by Cartoon Networks Studios and will premiere on Cartoon Network international channels in the fall of 2016 and in North America in 2017. 
EXCLUSIVE: Established stage actress Audrey Brisson has joined the cast of Starz's hit period drama Outlander for its upcoming second season, TVWise has learned. The 13 episode second season is now in production in Scotland for a 2016 premiere on Starz. 
Canadian actress Aliza Vellani has been cast in a mystery guest-starring role on Fox's The X-Files, TVWise has confirmed. The six episode revival is just about to enter production in Vancouver, Canada for a January 24th premiere.
