In his newly expanded role, he will be responsible for identifying and securing co-production opportunities for new original content to air in the US and around the world.

UKTV's Watch channel has released a first look clip from their upcoming talent series World's Most Talented. The clips shows unicyclist Flaviu Cernescu as he balances on the edge of the tallest dam in Romania, the Vidraru, and then crosses its ledge daredevil-style to get to the other side whilst battling his nerves and the prevailing wind.

William Fichtner is exiting the Tandem Communications produced drama 'Crossing Lines', which was recently renewed for a 12 episode third season by TF1 and Sony Pictures Television Networks. To offset his departure, Goran Visnjic (Extant) and Elizabeth Mitchell (Revolution, Once Upon A Time) have joined as regulars, while Frank Spotnitz has been set as the new showrunner.

The commercial broadcaster has given the greenlight to a pair of feature-length standalone Jules Maigret dramas set in 1950s Paris, TVWise has learned. Rowan Atkinson (Mr Bean, Johnny English) is set to play the iconic French detective in both adaptations.

E! Picks Up UK Rights To Scripted Drama ‘The Royals’, Sets Premiere For March 25th

E! UK has closed a deal with Lionsgate Television to pick up the exclusive first run UK rights to The Royals, the 10 episode scripted drama about the British royal family starring Elizabeth Hurley and Vincent Regan. The series, which has already been renewed for a second season, is set to premiere on the channel on Wednesday March 25th at 9pm.
