Channel 5 Extends ‘Big Brother’ Deal Through 2018
Big Brother is staying put on Channel 5. The Viacom owned broadcaster has extended its deal with Endemol Shine International for the reality format for a further three years, through 2018. Under said agreement, Channel 5 will continue to broadcast two seasons of Celebrity Big Brother and one season of Big Brother each year - all of which will be produced by Endemol Shine UK's indie Initial. 


CBS' drama series Stalker will return to Sky Living to finish airing its first season from Monday March 30th at 10pm, it has been announced.
BBC One's David Threlfall fronted one-off drama The Ark will premiere on Monday March 30th at 8:30pm, it has been announced. 
Collin Callender's Playground is continuing to beef up the ranks of their television division's UK arm. Following on from the recent hires of Louise Pederson as UK Managing Director and Sophie Gardiner as Creative Director, Playground Television UK has appointed former Film4 executive Tom Leggett as their Director of Development.
David Attenborough is heading down under. Atlantic Productions has sold nature series David Attenborough’s Great Barrier Reef to Australian public broadcaster ABC, TVWise has learned. The three episode series, which premieres in the UK on BBC One later this year, will debut on ABC in 2016.
