National Geographic Channels International has taken global rights to a raft of programmes produced and distributed by Earth Touch. The five programmes covered by said deal include Tiger On The Run, Electric Amazon, I, Crocodile, Creative Killers and After Dark; all of which will air international on National Geographic Channels International's Nat Geo Wild channel later this year.

Sky Atlantic Acquires UK Rights To Showtime’s ‘The Affair’, Eyes May Premiere

The Affair is coming to the UK. Sky Atlantic has acquired the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to the Golden Globe winning Showtime drama starring Dominic West and Ruth Wilson after agreeing a deal with international distributor CBS Studios International. The series will premiere this May.

ITV and Fox have reportedly landed a new drama series about the unlikely friendship between Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Harry Houdini. The two broadcasters, as well as Canada's Shaw Media, have handed out a 10 episode straight-to-series order to Houdini and Doyle, a drama about the two men investigating supernatural crimes which hails from House showrunner David Shore and Sony Pictures Television.

Following a three-year deal extension for Big Brother, Viacom International Media Networks UK has announced plans for a rebrand of Channel 5. In addition, VIMN UK has appointed Kerry Taylor to serve as their first CMO, who will oversee the rebrand of C5.
