‘Coach’ Revival Scores 13 Episode Series Order At NBC, Craig T. Nelson To Reprise Role
Revivals continue to be hot this development season. Mere days after Fox revived The X-Files as a limited event series with original stars Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny, NBC has picked up a revival of the late 1980s/early 1990s comedy Coach. Craig T. Nelson will reprise the titular role in NBC's revival, which has receive a 13 episode order. 
After months of rumours, ITV and series producer Carnival Films have confirmed that the upcoming sixth season of Downton Abbey will be its last. The 8 episode final season and a Christmas special will air on ITV later this year, and will be broadcast on PBS state-side in early 2016. 
Viacom has firmed up the launch plans for new channel Spike UK. A local version of the US network, Spike UK will launch on range of platforms including Freeview (channel 31), Sky (EPG slot 160) and Freesat (channel 141). In making the announcement, Viacom International Media Networks also revealed the content line-up for the channel's launch, which will include a combination of US acquisition's and local commissions.
Johnny Harris (Snow White And The Huntsmen), Richard Rankin (The Crimson Field) and Luke Newberry (In The Flesh) are set to co-star opposite Anne-Marie Duff in BBC One's four-part drama series From Darkness.
The fifth season of ITV's drama series Vera will premiere on Sunday April 5th at 8pm, it has been announced. 
The fourth and final season of HBO's drama series Treme will receive its UK premiere on Sky Atlantic on Thursday April 9th at 11pm, it has been announced.
