ITV has renewed long-running crime drama Midsomer Murders for an eighteenth season. Six episodes have been ordered for the new season, which will feature such storylines as bodysnatching, competitive cycling and the sighting of UFO's over Midsomer County. Production is now underway for a 2016 premiere.

More4 Acquires Norwegian WWII Drama ‘Heavy Water War’

More4 has closed a deal to acquire the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to Norwegian World War 2 drama series Heavy Water War (AKA Kampen om tungtvannet). The six episode period drama, which counts Anna Friel amongst its cast, is expected to premiere on More4 later this year.
