Strike Back - Season 4Cinemax has announced that the ten episode final season of counter-terrorism action series Strike Back, which is a co-production with UK satcaster Sky1, will premiere on Friday July 31st at 10/9c. (Sky1 has not yet set a UK air date for the show's final run).

Amazon Prime Instant Video UK has picked up the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to the second season of CBS' Halle Berry fronted sci-fi series Extant after striking a deal with CBS Studios International. The show's second season will premiere on the streaming service on July 2nd, mere hours after its debut state-side. New episodes will then continue to be made available every Thursday.

Will Mellor, Leanne Best & Arsher Ali Join BBC Two’s ‘Line Of Duty’

‘Downton Abbey’ Creator Julian Fellowes Returning To ITV With ‘Doctor Thorne’ Adaptation

Julian FellowesDespite the fact that Julian Fellowes' Downton Abbey is coming to an end later this year, he isn't quite done working with ITV. The much in-demand writer, who has period drama Gilded Age in the works at NBC, is returning to ITV to adapt one of his favourite novels, Doctor Thorne, as a three-part drama. Hat Trick Productions will produce with Mark Redhead, Julian Fellowes Chris Kelly and Ted Childs serving as executive producers. Production begins later this year.
