‘Britain’s Next Top Model’ Revived At Lifetime UK With 10 Episode Order
Britain's Next Top Model is making a comeback. Some two years after Sky Living cancelled the series, Lifetime UK has commissioned Thumbs Up Productions to produce a new version of the series, after they secured the format rights in a deal with CBS Studios International. Lifetime UK has ordered ten episodes for the debut season of the new format, which does not include Ireland in that title due to licensing restrictions. Production will get underway this September in the UK and abroad for a 2016 premiere. 
Good Food is reuniting with John Torode. The UKTV owned and operated channel has ordered John Torode's Malaysian Adventure, a new 10 part series following the acclaimed chef as he explores the varied cuisine of Malaysia. 
PBS America has picked up the UK rights to Secrets, Politics & Torture - Frontline's hour-long documentary on the CIA controversial program of using "enhanced interrogation techniques" on high value targets in the War on Terror, as well as the ensuing investigation and report from the US Senate Select Committee On Intelligence.
After registering marginal growth in its second week, Syfy UK's Dark Matter slipped slightly in the ratings with its third episode. The third outing of the sci-fi series, which originally aired on Monday June 29th, pulled in an average consolidated audience of 359K viewers. That is down by some 34K viewers or 9% on the 393K viewers who watched the previous episode. It is also down slightly on the 376K who tuned into the series premiere last month.
ITV has given the greenlight to Harry Price: Ghost Hunter, a one-off two-hour drama based on Neil Spring's novel The Ghost Hunters which is being developed for television by Shameless and Doc Martin scribe Jack Lothian and is set up at independent production company Bentley Productions.
Turner Broadcasting has poached UKTV's Dan Fahy and appointed him as their Senior Director of Commercial Development for the UK and Northern Europe.
FOX UK has released the first trailer for Outcast, the upcoming exorcism series from The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman which is set to premiere in 2016. Outcast follows Kyle Barnes, a young man who has been plagued by possession since he was a child. Now an adult, he embarks on a journey to find answers but what he uncovers could mean the end of life on Earth as we know it. The cast includes Patrick Fugit (Gone Girl), Gabriel Bateman (Stalker) and Philip Glenister (From There To Here).
BBC One has released the first trailer for their six episode Agatha Christie adaptation Partners In Crime, starring David Walliams (Little Britain) and Jessica Raine (Call The Midwife).
