ITV Reverses Course On ‘The Americans’, Picks Up Seasons 3 & 4 For ITV Encore

ITV Encore has closed a deal with Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution to acquire the exclusive UK broadcast rights to FX's Cold War era spy drama The Americans, TVWise has learned. ITV Encore's deal with Fox covers both the third season and recently ordered fourth season.

FOX UK Pushes Back ‘The Fixer’ To September

The FixerFOX UK is making a change to their schedule. Miniseries The Fixer, starring Eric Dane (The Last Ship) and Kathleen Robertson (Murder In The First), is being pushed back. Instead of premiering on August 21st as previously announced, the four-hour mini will now premiere on Friday September 4th at 10pm.

UKTV Moves Into Branded Content With Dave’s ‘The Unbreakables’

The UnbreakablesUKTV is making a move into branded-content for its latest original commission. The commercial network, a joint venture between BBC Worldwide and Scripps Networks Interactive, has teamed up with fashion-watch brand G-SHOCK (via branded content agency The Story Lab) for The Unbreakables, a 12 parter which is being hailed as UKTV's first ever branded-content TV commission. The series will air on Dave later this year.

Tom Davidson is exiting the company, which is a joint venture between A+E Networks and Sky, after serving as Managing Director since 2008. His exit comes as the company is undergoing a management restructuring which will see Dean Possenniskie assume the mantle of leadership as of July 20th as part of his current role as Managing Director, EMEA for A+E Networks.
