Channel 4 Orders Terry Pratchett Animated Adaptation ‘The Abominable Snow Baby’
Channel 4 is adding an animated special to their Christmas schedule. The broadcaster has ordered The Abominable Snow Baby, an adaptation of a Terry Pratchett short story that was published as part of his book of Christmas tales titled Father Christmas’ Fake Beard. 
Keeley Hawes (Bodyguard, Spooks) and Max Beesley (The Outsider, Suits) have been set as the leads in The Midwich Cuckoos, Sky One's eight episode adaptation of the John Wyndham novel of the same name. Production on the series is set to get underway next month, ahead of a 2022 premiere.
My Life Is Murder will be returning to Alibi. The UKTV owned and operated channel has secured the linear rights to the show's second season after striking a deal with international distributor DCD Rights. As
James Frain (Star Trek: Discovery, True Detective), Tracy Ifeachor (Quantico, Treadstone), Sharon D. Clarke (Rocks, Doctor Who), Sinéad Keenan (Little Boy Blue, Care), Celine Buckens (Warrior, Bridgerton), Kerr Logan (Strike, Game Of Thrones) and Lolita Chakrabarti (Vigil, Criminal: UK) have been cast in BBC One's Showtrial.
Jetpack Distribution has lined up a slew of deals with various international broadcasters for Clangers, which airs on CBeebies in the UK. The kids content distributor has licensed the series to ZDF for their free to air children's channel KIKA and will also be available through their online platforms including FVOD channel ZDFtivi. Additionally, Jetpack has sold the show to Mediacorp in Singapore, Ceska Televize in the Czech Republic, RTVS in Slovenia, and HRT in Croatia.
The Pursuit Of Love will premiere on BBC One on Sunday May 9th at 9pm, it has been announced.
