FOX UK Inks Turner Deal For ‘Rick & Morty’, ‘Mr Pickles’ & More Adult Swim Series

New Fox UK Logo 2015FOX UK is turning to Adult Swim for their renewed push into scripted comedy. The FIC owned and operated channel has inked a deal with Turner Broadcasting System for the exclusive UK broadcast rights to a wide range of Adult Swim content, including Dan Harmon's Rick & Morty and Mr Pickles. The series acquired under this deal will air on Thursday nights from 11pm in a branded Adult Swim block.

James Cromwell Joins HBO/Sky/Canal+ Co-Pro ‘The Young Pope’

Sky, HBO and Canal+ are adding to the cast of their co-production The Young Pope. Award winning actor James Cromwell has been tapped for a starring role in the eight episode miniseries, which hails from creator Paul Sorrentino and is being toplined by Jude Law. Cromwell will play Cardinal Michael Spencer, the new Pope's mentor.

AMC Global To Roll Out ‘Humans’ Internationally

AMC Global has secured exclusive first window television rights to the Channel 4/AMC co-production after striking a deal with international distributor Endemol Shine International, TVWise has learned. The show's eight episode first season will air across AMC Global's international footprint beginning in October, with the just ordered second season to follow in 2016.
