CBS Drama Gets Freeview Slot, Agrees CBSSI Deal For ‘Californication’, ‘Nurse Jackie’ & More

CalifornicationCBS Drama is coming to Freeview. The channel, which is operated by the CBS AMC Networks UK Channels Partnership, has agreed a new carriage deal which will see CBS Drama launch on Freeview on Tuesday September 1st. This carriage deal further extends the reach of CBS Drama, which is already available on a range of other platforms including Sky, Fresat and Virgin Media. The channel will now be available to over 90% of UK households when it debuts on Freeview slot 74 next month.

BBC One’s Agatha Christie Series ‘Partners In Crime’ Goes Global

BBC One's Agatha Christie adaptation Partners In Crime is going global. International distributor all3media International has sold the six episode series to a slew of international broadcasters including NHK in Japan, ABC in Australia, Sky in New Zealand, BBC Global across Africa, TV2 in Norway, TV4 in Sweden, DR TV in Denmark, RUV in Iceland, HRT in Croatia, VRT in Flemish speaking Belgium and Ale Kino in Poland. Acorn TV previously acquired the U.S. streaming rights to Partners In Crime.
